Horns Work in Progress

Well, this is something i've been working on for monster hunter. I started off using the advanced technique of making aluminum foil burrito's that are stuffed in polyfil, lol.

Then i gave the aluminum foil burrito a quick thin coat of apoxie sculpt to give it a hard surface to work with.

After that i wanted to give the horns some texture like the hip horns for the Goushu Kirin armor, so i started making apoxie sculpt scales on the horns themselves, one side first, then the other side.

Hopefully i can finish the horns once the scales fully cure. I think this may be a viable option to make the horns for the Kirin Bolts too, albeit a little bit expensive since i'd need to get another tub of Apoxie Sculpt in order to finish it.
