Probably my very last Work in progress picture. This is the 2nd version of the shoulders, and i took the picture with the eyepatch on. Hehe, sort of threw the head stuff on so i guess it isn't quite sitting right but it gives the idea. Also, the full let of fake fasteners have been placed on.

I definitely like how these new shoulders sit a little better. And the eye-patch i guess lets me sort of see through it a little little, just enough to get an idea of how far away stuff is.

Hopefully i can get some real photo's of it soon, instead of super red fluorescent lighting, lol.

Raiden is a character from Konami's next Metal Gear Solid Rising game due out supposedly sometime next year =D

I MUST say, this is very, very, very excellent!! You could cosplay Raiden, you could be able to cosplay almost anyone! Was it a girl cosplaying this though?

Woah all of this is vinyl and craft foam - amazing*.*
I've tried vinyl and craft foam for my plugsuit lately but I haven't tried it for armor cosplay yet. Is vinyl+craft foam better for armor or just craft foam?(I'm planning on making Lightning's new armor from FFXIII-2).

I think foam/vinyl is good for making a single tone armor, but i think craft foam alone is probably easier to work with, and since your painting it, you have a lot more color options. It looks like lightnings armor is a single tone so, it can probably be done either way in my opinion, its just the vinyl really adds some extra strength to the craft foam if you want the armor to be a little bit tougher, and it also lets you run the armor through a sewing machine if you have a sewing machine that can handle stitching through those kinds of materials. The gold trimmings on Lightnings bracers would probably be the time consuming part for vinyl/foam, since vinyl itself kind of resists a lot of adhesives.
