I'm still excited about attending my first East Coast convention. Dragon*Con!

Also excited I got to do a monster hunter group shoot with Joseph Chi Lin during Animegacon. Him having the experience to pose someone newer to photoshoots such as myself really helped during the whole process.

Also, i decided to upload a portfolio of my Monster Hunter Work in Progress here www.facebook.com/media/set/?se… . Its a 30 page presentation that was designed to occupy around 7 minutes of time, and goes through the concept and crafting process of creating a representation of the Goushu Kirin Armor.

Its been a fairly quiet week so i've spend a little bit of it working on Light up Persona 4 Tarot cards. I'm thinking about making a few more that don't light up as props, just in case. But with 2 cards that do light up, and 2 hands, it seems like a good number. Especially since it costs me around $12 to create each card, and wiring them up is tedious.

For cosplays, since i'll have to pack lighter, it seems like I'll be able to bring Nightwing, General Iroh, and Persona 4. I think that is around all my luggage will really allow for.

Two weeks and its Dragon*Con, the last con of this summer for me.

Well, I'm terrible at updating my Deviant Art, that is a given.

The month of August seems pretty exciting though. I'll get to participate in my first major location group shoot this coming weekend for Avatar Legend of Korra. Its a group that put together. Very excited since a lot of local friends are involved in this one. I'll be cosplaying as General Iroh for this.

Next week is AniMegaCon. Some friends and I have entered the Masquerade, lead by . Hope i don't derp, lol.

But one exciting way to end august is Dragon*Con. This will be my first East Coast convention, and i've only heard good things about this one. Really excited to check out the east coast. I'll probably be doing a test run of one new cosplays from Persona 4 if i finish it in time to make sure that it can handle the rigors of convention life.

But all in all, this month will be loaded in fun

Well, things would have it that I'm a fan of Kpop, lol. But recently some friends works for countless hours in order to create a cover of Shinee's Sherlock, not only learning the dance, but also dressing up and also going location scouting. The final recording was taken with the help of a convention Cinematographer you guys may have seen at various SoCal conventions.

They worked really hard on this so lets show some support to our fellow cosplayers by the cosplay community.

Well, after debating on which con to go to, I'd really like to start participating in masquerades more as of late so, seems like i'll be going to Anime Conji and performing in their masquerade with . It will be a return of "Team Ramrod" LOL. Last year we ended up getting "Best of Show: Craftsmanship" and "Most Humorous". Guess we'll see what we can pull out of our hats and other parts this year, lol.
